Ate here once before. sat outside a few years ago in the summer and the sandwich was good. We had their chicken dinner today and it was fabulous. the chicken was tender and juicy. everything tasted good. The Fried Green Tomatoes were among some of the best I have had. Our waitress Mattie gave us great service. All the staff there was very friendly. Will definitely make a trip down here more often.

Our server Clay was fantastic! He was polite, efficient, attentive and very personable! Izzy, the bartender ,was extremely helpful when I asked about shipping an item. The live music was wonderful. We enjoyed our evening so much we went back for brunch the next day. Food was perfect and Eli was an excellent server! Highly recommend.

The food and service were great. Large proportion at a fair price. Everyone was friendly, and food came fast even though they were busy. Cute little shop inside to look at.

I came in today with my sister and mom for the first time. We sat in the bar area which was a nice little space. There was only ONE server at the bar (Miranda) who was an absolute ROCKSTAR!!. She was balancing between the bar, the kitchen and the dining room with only two servers in the dining room (unsure how many were in the kitchen). Miranda handled all of that stress with such grace apologizing profusely for the delayed service. I could tell she really valued the quality of service she provided. The food was really good too. The fries were on point. KEEP IT UP, MIRANDA! You’re awesome!

This was our first visit to The Nashville House, after a stellar recommendation from an aunt. We were not disappointed! I had the Signature Salad with blackened salmon on it, my husband had the Phenomenal Turkey Club, and of course Fried Biscuits. All were very, very good. My salmon was slightly undercooked, which the really sweet, super nice waitress (blonde - Im sorry I forgot your name!!) quickly resolved. We would go again and highly recommend giving it a try!

Excellent and clean place to try and enjoy the traditional American food- biscuits wiht their famous apple butter, hands down Fried Chicken, beef brisket. The time we went is the off-peak season, it is not too busy and the waitress Sabrina was so nice and severed us decently. Great decoration in the restaurant, including the lovely seasonal Halloween painted pumpkins.

I used to come to the Nashville house frequently while I still lived in Indiana, but since I moved out of state, I rarely get an experience like I do here. Even 14 hours away I talk this place up to my friends and coworkers! Every time I come back to my home state, I make it a point to stop in here. I went in yesterday, and it felt just like it always had. As a history nerd, the atmosphere feels homey and adds that Indiana prairie feel to it. From the cozy fireplaces to the wooden floors and walls, it always puts me in a mood for a delicious meal that feels like grandmother's cooking. The staff here ARE INCREDIBLE. I had Eli as a waiter, and he was so cool. He got my table everything we needed as fast as he could, and was incredibly polite and chill. Since it was a rainy and slow day, we had some extra time to just talk with him and joke over how welcoming Indiana can be compared to other states. After we ate, I made my way to their gift section. Of course I needed to bring some apple butter back to my coworkers in Louisiana! Yes, it's so worth the hype my coworkers beg me to bring some back any time I come back to the Nashville House. From there, I was checked out by Miss Jane and Clay. They were so helpful!! They made sure to wrap everything extra careful for me and my long drive home. They also helped me pick out a few extra gifts for some special people in my life. And again, I was lucky enough to chat with the two of them while they put my order together. They were both the sweetest and kindest people! I highly recommend The Nashville House if you're looking for the hospitality Indiana has to offer. I'll forever be a customer here 3
